I was pointed here from fanficrants after I noticed a fic I strongly suspect was plagiarized, in the Ben 10 fandom.

 On June 19th 2010 live journal user gixxer_pilot reported that her story Purple Heart" had been plagiarised by Fanfiction.net user AriRashkae.  See the post here

Having reviewed both stories there is themes that are similar, including the use of the same poem.

Dammit.

I knew when I started writing that I was bound to be ripped off one day. I just wish it would have been later rather than sooner. I was cruising through the Transformers archive on Thursday night (17 June) when I saw a story that looked way to much like my story "Purple Heart" for comfort. This author has been caught plagiarizing before - last time we dealt with it the good old fashioned way, but she has done it again. Her story Phantom is a condensed version of Losing them Both by pimmyjalmergrl, whilst the story Don't Stand a Chance is a retelling of the story Snowblind (which she stole previously, but I do not have the screencaps ( Read more... )

Right this is an unusual case as well we don’t have a case to link to. Not certain what happened to it.  However as it was submitted through the proper channels we did investigate this anyways.

So To summerise. At Some point in October embroiderama submitted a case to say that  a chapter in Eligents fic hunger had some similarities to Food for ( Read more... )

I'm a bit iffy on this one, but at the same time, the coincidences are pretty suspicious. The newer story is short and doesn't have a lot of clarity, but what I managed to get out of it reflects much of the older story -- just in a condensed form.
